AMERICA'S GREATEST ENEMY

 

The greatest enemy of America today is not Russia, China, North Korea, the Taliban, or ISIS.  The greatest enemy of and threat to America, the American people, American freedom and democracy, and true American values is today’s Republican Party.

Today’s Republican Party is totally controlled by the racist and repressive so-called “Evangelicals” of the Religious Right, bought and paid for by the NRA, and completely embraces as its leader demagogue Donald J. Trump.

Donald J. Trump is a totally worthless individual, completely devoid of intelligence, integrity, and humanity, who does not possess a single redeeming positive human quality or value, and who has never performed a single totally unselfish act in his entire adult life.

In our country’s history no one single individual has done more damage to America, the American people, American freedom and democracy, and true American values than Donald J. Trump.

The legacy of the Trump Presidency is the “legitimization” of racism, bigotry, and white supremacism.  What he has done is organized millions of ignorant racist Americans, who in the past either did not vote or voted for extreme 3rd Party candidates and brought them into the Republican Party.  The Party now courts and panders to these new voters, totally abandoning true conservative and “traditional” Republican voters.

The platform of today’s Republican Party is not based on legitimate political philosophy and values but on ignorance, racism, and bigotry.

Today’s Republican Party does not want a government based on freedom, equality, and the Constitution.  It wants one based on racist and repressive distortions of Christian doctrine, which have nothing to do with the true teachings of Christ.

Today’s Republican Party is not conservative.  Its platform is the polar opposite of the basic conservative values of individual freedom and limited government.  It wants the government to tell citizens what they can read, what they can think, who they can love, and how they can act.  Today’s Republican Party supports banning books, censoring history, and suppressing the teaching of anything that does not strictly conform to extreme fundamentalist white Christian nationalist propaganda.

It is vital for the future of America and American freedom, democracy, and values that we vote against every Republican candidate for every office in every election at every level.
